The filter can be activated through a dropdown in the Images tab, search settings, or by using a dedicated AI-free domain: noai.duckduckgo.com. The system relies on curated blocklists, including uBlockOrigin’s Huge AI Blocklist, to detect and suppress AI-generated imagery. While not perfect, it significantly reduces synthetic content visibility. This move sets DuckDuckGo apart from competitors like Google and Bing by giving users direct control over their exposure to AI-generated material. Source: TechCrunch

DuckDuckGo has added a feature to filter out AI images from search results.

Is that an alternate meaning for “inspire,” as in “to breathe in?” It makes perfect sense if so, but I’ve never run across it before.

I happened on this novel called THE GREAT EASTERN by Howard Rodman, released in 2019, about an extended naval war between Captain Nemo and Captain Ahab in the late 1800s.

Semi-historical fiction, with the Ahab POVs written like Melville and the Nemo stuff like Vernes.

INCREDIBLE. Anyone know it?

I took a few hours to myself last night after the SDCC wildness and checked out Fantastic Four. DUG IT.

It will be interesting to see those characters - almost archaically earnest - interact with the post-modern semi-deconstructed heroes of the main MCU (assuming that happens.)

I will eventually reveal this, I’m sure, but as it currently stands I’d rather just respond to people’s orders and say if they’re right or wrong.

Just finished Trials of The Jedi by @charlessoule.bsky.social. what an incredible finale. Wraps everything so well, leaving plot threads that I hope are picked up sooner than later. The High Republic has been such an incredible journey, I really hope it's not long until we revisit this era.

I will swing by for sure.
