Filtering software is both less restrictive than age verification and often more effective, as the Court found in Ashcroft.

Age verification is a policy idea which just wonβt die, despite being repeatedly struck down in court.
This is just the latest attempt to spin it with a new twist - by putting the responsibility on app stores. But that doesnβt make age verification any more constitutional.
