An image of frog embryos with severely swollen bellies due to edema. We don't know why this is happening and are asking for advice to correct it.

We are experiencing severe edema in developing tadpoles before 1 week old. I haven't dealt with this before, and was wondering if anyone had suggestions? We tried 0.1x MMR & tadpole ringer + bicarb, but no difference. It's also seemingly random, since we've also had completely healthy batches🧪🐸

Got to hang out with legendary herp and primate researcher Russ Mittermeier. Showed him around one of my mud turtle sites and got the target species plus a couple more. He gifted me a few books and even signed his Lemurs of Madagascar book for me!
