Episode 4 is obv about Gangle, and I believe how the adventure ended was how she died irl, she was getting off work and got hit by a truck, it heavily delves into Gangle's dreams back in the real world, being a shift manager and wanting to draw a webcomic

Episode 3 is about Kinger, I believe in the real world his wife in the circus was his wife irl, and that he had a mental break and did a murder/suicide, which is why he said "You look beautiful honey" to the monster, because the hunter guy shot his wife assuming it was the monster

Mk so, the first 2 episodes were definitely an intro the series and 3 and 4 are where it starts proper, this show is each character's walk through Hell, the Circus is purgatory and the adventures are meant to delve into the lives of the characters
