thats normal for states like missouri tbh, my grandmas sister called us while there was a fucking tornado near by and sirens were going off in Oklahoma xP anyways speaking of grandma, she doesn't live with us anymore and I'm now starting my transition medically soon (win win!)

public schools hella crazy but 4 a high schooler like us enjoy much of it as possible, make a lot of friends and join clubs, here I joined an art and LGBTQ+ club and its so fucking fun and the advisors r so cool, lucky u already in summer mode, still have school until the 16th :-(
