Munchkin (my sister) is still crashing with me, so I am making sure she’s well fed! Dinner (may be breakfast but cold) is lasagna and salad!
Another one of the few dishes I can make and am confident in.

I never claim to be a good cook, I’m a better baker, but I made a darn good egg roll in a bowl (with ground beef) today!

Packed with veggies (coleslaw mix with kale and brussel sprouts) and served over rice, it was SO good. Highly recommend trying if it’s your kinda thing!

Since it’s now today… yay to 38 🤣

Happy Birthday to me!!! I mean it’s tomorrow but this made my whole night! I have loved this game and am so excited to play it again.

Just a little bookshelf update… not reading nearly as much as I did last year (definitely on a gaming hyperfixation).

But… Interview with the Vampire was completed… this morning 🤣

Thunderstorm meant taking a twirl in the rain because my inner child needed it. I’m soaked but smiling so much my cheeks hurt.

Students have me in my feels tonight. The first group of second graders I ever taught, graduate high school tomorrow. 😱 where did the time go?

In case you’re wondering how NYers are feeling (and the northeast for that matter) it’s June 1st 60*F, but feels like 52.

I’m in part of the state that last saw a sunny weekend in March.

My students are the best… first my 2nd graders decided there needed to be a little squirrel meeting before lunch. Then my PreK decided we needed a whole summer home before the end of the day.
The things these kids create and imagine blows my mind. So amazed by them.

Nervous for budget vote next week, it greatly impacts my livelihood…

But also ready for the next 6 weeks to fly so hopefully I can rest, catch streams, and get my brain and body back in order.

Sharing because this human being is one of the most incredible artists!

Busy week ahead… good choice to take some time for you and care of yourself!

Sometimes the best comedy is in the timing, pulled into my building (where I teach PreK-2ndGr and Staff, tech) to “Welcome to the Jungle.”
