Happy book birthday to us!! 🥳 Today is release day for "Aufstand der Fabelwesen", the third and last book of our German series about saving mythical creatures in 19th century Europe. Along with it, we also got to do a notebook, coloring book and a card deck of 50 creatures 👀

Since there are many spiders in Through the Omenpaths, I thought it would make sense to post my Twin-Silk Spider for good company.

It's an old card (2019) and not a very strong one. But painting it was fun.

Yep, essentially the same. Actually, leftover salsa could be the start to the wrap situation, don't fall into that trap.

Help I'm trapped in a wrap cycle, I ate wraps for two days then I ran out of one ingredient and re-bought it because I still need to use up all the other wrap stuff and then I ran out of another ingredient and you get the idea

Hmm, in that case, maybe you could go with a historical or mythological thing or other public domain story to redesign and have fun with?

Oh yeah, that makes a lot of sense! When I did daily monsters in October a few years back, people started expecting them and it helped a lot with keeping it up (somewhat) consistently. Maybe getting started on a specific project, posting stuff and finding an audience that enjoys it might work?

For me it has a lot to do with perfectionism. Having all the freedom means we can't hide behind the constraints given by a client, so we are fully responsible for the result being as awesome (or not) as it can be. I'm currently trying to work on this by giving myself briefs like a client would lol
