I went to the world's worst zoo. It only had a single dog. It was a Shih Tzu

This episode of Mark Steele's in Town about Handsworth is brilliant. It's the Birmingham I grew up in, moved back to and work in, at one of the most diverse and integrated Universities in the UK. www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b...

Birmingham, my home city, is a fantastic city, with fantastic people- a success story. It has its problems, like anywhere. But the obsession the online right has with it is as transparent as it gets.

Was a great catch and hopefully Cricinfo get her name right as she deserves those stats from today. Nice to see the Phoenix women actually win at home for once! Look a stronger team than the last 2 years.

Completely agree. And if the players (generally) could behave a little like a knock on the ankle was a life threatening injury. Get Nigel Owens in and he'll tell them like it is!

It feels like she's adopted the rugby attitude where the squad all play a part and you have "finishers" who basically come on and run the opposition ragged when they are knackered.

I've only ever done it for proteins but there are some papers out there about doing it for polymers. I think it depends how "exchangeable" the protons are

I've asked my mates and they can't, sorry. With the caveat that I'm not a polymer chemist, but I spend an awful lot of time working with some. You don't seem to be able to buy a deuterated monomer which would make it difficult. Have you thought about doing hydrogen deuterium exchange on bought PEI?

If we had a decent 1 and 3, to go with an engine room of Root, Brook and Smith, we'd be decent. There must be better players in county cricket whose dads aren't best mates with Rob Key

I went to all 5 days at Edgbaston and, although England were generally poor, Crawley stood out as uniquely incompetent. He just looks like a walking wicket. Pope alternates between briefly sublime and clueless.
