13.11.2025 04:25 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Heβs definitely studied under a master: David Popkins
13.11.2025 03:10 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Fine: but theyβre not the North American broadcaster of the WS
13.11.2025 03:07 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Yes. But also: very much too late.
13.11.2025 03:06 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0We like to say it seems heβs working AGAINST their success sometimes. Brendon Little leaps to mind. His use in the postseason was indefensible.
Eventually the fiddling was too much to overcome in a Game 7. Bunting for no reason. Not letting Straw run. Batting Clement 8th. Itβs a long list.
And hey: thank you for asking. Iβm a βDay-Onerβ with this team and theyβve had worse managers for sure, but he makes head-scratching decisions and this year it didnβt matter as much because once they played as a team it was hard to mess it up. Plus of course: the Summer of George.
13.11.2025 03:04 β π 3 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0They caught lightning in a bottle. They all bought in to Popkinsβ approach to hitting. Not right away, it took about six weeks. But this was exactly the kind of roster that knew they werenβt going to pummel anyone. Once that took hold, it was magic.
Heβs a good guy, but not a good manager.
I canβt vouch for the Cleveland manager. But Iβm pretty confident in my belief that very little if anything about the Jaysβ big season had anything to do with Schneider. Not a fan of his.
12.11.2025 19:53 β π 6 π 1 π¬ 1 π 0Same manager led them to last place, too.
12.11.2025 16:31 β π 6 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0As a Blue Jays fan Iβm just happy it wasnβt Schneider. π«€
