i feel like a total terf when i admit i was doing it because i was insecure about my feminity. Its a very hard line to tread talking about detransitioning because it feels it might be taken as an example in favor for conservatives.
thats totally understandable. theres alot of trans folk i do look up to, and just people who seem more fulfilled undergoing transitioning. when i said it was “a thing 3 years ago” i definitely meant only in my friend group when we were teens during covid.
Bro, like i dont even know. Everybody transitions for different reasons and mine turned out to be temporary emotional needs. I was really tired of trying to act and look boy like. so then i considered myself non binary, but then a year later i got tired of that too. 🧵 (3/?)
Honestly, i wanted to be something i was not. i deathly wanted to be a guy. My life depended on it at the time. I thought it was the way to get me on track. And once I found some stability and self-esteem, my gender seemed less… of a concern. 🧵 (2/?)
