It is succinctly clear from present scenario - that the first casualty in any armed-conflict between nation-state is - citizen”s ability to reason with the exercise of free speech.

The principled stand of citizens of De-escalation & apposition to war presupposing its debilitating impact is criticised by fringe elements as anti-state.

The armed-conflict between India & Pakistan has not only proliferated the war-mongering narratives from both sides nation-state but also has made a dent on citizen”s ability in their state to exercise free speech with reasoned articulation to demand accountability from their governments.

The uncritical comparison between prosecution of oppressed social groups specifically religious minorities to knowingly or unknowingly appease majoritarian religious sentiments is morally and ethically wrong.

Today is the 35th anniversary of the Capitol Crawl, in which disabled activists discarded their mobility aids at the foot of the Capitol steps to climb them in support of passage of the Americans with Disabilities Ac. Jennifer Keelan-Chaffins, 8, told reporters "I'll take all night if I have to!"

When welfare takes an image of charity; it strips the disabled community of their enfranchised rights by stigmatising disabled community which are won by relentless struggle of generation of disabled people.

A picture clicked by me when I was standing at the platform.

It’s a typical Sunday morning & my usual spot of catching a fast local train to go to my homeπŸ’œ

Things have not changed much on platform no 4 at Dadar station, only they have removed the barricades on the other side of the platform, so it is open from both sides of platform no 4 & 5 now😊

πŸ‰ A little over a year ago @thellpsx.bsky.social @pipagaopoetry.bsky.social & I started this campaign & we are close to raising $2 million CAD. The ongoing destruction & violence and mass starvation of an entire people hurts my heart so much.

I make a newsletter on international disability news and I need your help.

The two biggest challenges for a project like this are visibility and financing.

Please share, to help others find it.

And if you're comfortable, it runs on pay-what-you-can.
