I'm not mad when another journal rejects an article after peer review, and the author asks if my journal is interested. Often the author has already done the suggested revisions. If the paper is good enough to publish, publish. The other journal did the peer review and my journal gets the credit!

Lesley Finn and collage as sensemaking by thoughtful intuition - The Weird Show Artist Lesley Finn talks about collage, found materials, and archive research, and her interest on mysticism, poetry and book arts.

This interview gets at the resonance between making and writing so beautifully. Both are very rigorous, yielding different but also depthful things ....

Cover of Occupied Refuge: Humanitarian Colonization and the Camp in Kenya by Hanno Brankamp. The cover features a black-and-white photograph of a refugee camp with small structures that have corrugated metal roofs. In the foreground, a dirt ground stretches across the image with people walking, sitting, and standing near a vehicle. A vertical yellow line runs from top to bottom, dividing the composition. The title and subtitle appear in white text on the left side of the cover, with the author's name at the bottom right.

This was my reply to every student who wrote to express interest in working with me as of January 2025, when I realized that each member of our family would be targeted by a different fascist policy and that we had to get out before anyone got seriously injured - or killed.

Can't help but think so much of this Epstein nastiness is tied up in crap that has roots in Ivy League universities. As in behaviors and traditions among the self appointed elite. The best of the best egging their egos on!
