Yesterday, I had a long conversation with a patient who was struggling with technology and dealing with people who were supposed to be helping her.

I think I really helped her understand it was okay to not know things and not be embarrassed about needing help.

That's a good day in my book.

Air fried chicken thighs last night. Came out really good and fast.

I think I'm happy with my investment 🙂

Just air fried my first food items - frozen fish filets. I've heated dozens of them in my traditional oven, but never had one come out crispy until tonight. And the acrid stench has subsided.

Score one win for the air fryer !

Did a test run of the new air fryer this morning. Despite cautions, there was no heat at all from the bottom, sides, or top. But a virtual blast furnace came out the back. It's also stinky as all get out.

This is gonna take some planning and getting used to.

Had a wonderful celebration of my Dad's life last weekend (he passed a couple of weeks ago). So nice to see so many faces from my past.

Hoping to get out to enjoy some live music and renew some friendships tomorrow (Sunday).

This isn't what I was looking for. Taking Bluesky hiatus.

A couple of my younger cat colony members are showing a willingness to approach me and sniff my hand. I think they see me petting the other friendly members of the clan and want in on that action 🐈

I'm going to try to stay informed, but also positive as possible here on Bluesky.

Post and re-post things that matter to you. But if I see an excessive number rage re-posts about the same general topics, I'm going to cull my feed to prevent a small group of people from dominating the conversation.
