Cindy shut her eyes and protected her face with her arms as flowers and leaves whipped around her. As such, she didn't notice her Mage's uniform melting off her body, new fabrics rushing to embrace her.

A figure splashed to the surface of the pond, whipping a spray of water towards Cindy and her companions. Audrey instinctively flinched, but the droplets of water halted in midair once they reached the edge of the pool. It seemed to hit an invisible wall and trickle back into the pond.

A battle cry caused Cindy to turn and surge with lightning as she saw a horde of teeming, green creatures leaping from the bushes and from behind trees. They were short and squat, and appeared to be emaciated by the sight of their ribs through their skin. Gobblins.
