Book Aziraphale shields himself with his wings though! Plus, it’s actually cheaper to harmonise the colours across both designs and limit their overall number, and the designer has managed it to some extent since the prototypes (but left blond instead of white; the haircuts are also suspicious).

The backs of Good Omens Christmas jumpers with two alternative versions of the Eden wall scene: Crowley’s jumper seems to somewhat keep the TV show adjacent presentations of the demon-angel pair, but with their positions swapped (the demon covers the angel with their wing), whereas Aziraphale’s jumper depicts a black-haired demon and a scruffy blond angel clearly not matching the TV show and graphic novel iterations of the characters (the angel covers the demon with their wing though, just like in the original scene).

The edited product photos shared by Good Omens HQ after this year’s Ineffable Con have actually confirmed my theory on the topic — the differences in shapes and colours between both designs seem quite intentional!

From what I’ve seen, there appears to be a really high interest rate in networking with Good Omens fans from the wider Baltic region. A jumper-themed meet-up in one of these countries could be fun!
