at CES last month, i innocently asked the head of product of Ring Neighbors if they were considering expanding the search party feature to find missing people. he said “nope, just dogs!” and then quite literally walked away from our conversation lol. turns out he used to be counsel for Ring :-)

insisting on calling every mass day of protest or one-day boycott a "general strike" is not the move. it's good to see people rallying around the cause, it matters, but if you want to be part of a large-scale labor action that shuts down the gears of capital, start by unionizing your workplace!!!

I've been studying the history of US, and indeed, global policing my whole career and I can't make it more clear to law makers that this isn't a bastardization of policing, it is its purest form and logical conclusion. The impunity, militarization, deference, legitimacy, racial targeting, etc.

I have been hesitant to share my work lately b/c we are in crises, but increasingly I think we need affirmative visions & not just defensive actions.

We need a Project Now Until Liberation.

I think the two pieces I am sharing here can contribute to that. So, w/a deep breath, here they are - 1/3
