Ninja Gaiden is a franchise that will check you, and then offer you further challenges to allow you to display excellence. That means something to me and it's why I'm foaming at the mouth to not only play but to completly obliterate whatever the game throws at me.

I beat her and Remember kids this was before Souls Like's but the feeling of winning was an unbelievable rush. What's funny is the game genuinely got easier after that. I was hooked... Not on the game but on a challenge that is based on skill. No cheese, no tricks, it's you vs your will to win.

Eventually I hit that wall both in life and in the game. I... needed to win, and I never wanted to feel like "You can't do this". Failing out of school meant going home and that was the last place I wanted to go back to. So when I got to that boss... It felt the same. I can't quit here.

I'm close to failing out, I'm upset a lot, I wonder if I should have gone to another school, or flat out dropped. I didn't have a great experience with many of the class mates in my block. I mainly had games and a few friends from different classes.

I wasn't actually someone who would push through a challenge like that. I was still young but I would just give up and walk away. I didn't have that perseverance yet. At this time I'm a year into culinary school getting my butt whooped in class surrounded by people all older and smarter than me
