These days I find your average player taste to be as complex as chicken nuggets and french fries. There's nothing wrong with it but the lack of complexity leaves folks who are deeper into this medium yearning.

I actually agree, and doing a bit of digging it's absolutely true for me too. No shot at reviewers but I think it's really knowing your personal taste and recognize it.

💯 everyone at my kids bus stop is talking about Roblox games and experiences. The teens I see around my nephew's talks about games like peak and smaller games. Not onc have I seen them hype for AAA box releases. Sans GTA

Agreed. I almost feel bamboozled by the last gen jump because of how little has proven to need a hardware jump outside of QOL. Plus we have so much premium content with such a long tail of play that it's difficulty to justify moving. We have various games with 10 years of content on PC/mobile. 💯

I'd like to counter the negative sentiment (and my negative thoughts) with nice takes instead of hot takes:

- A smile from a stranger can literally change the colors of the day.

- Food tastes better when it's made with music on

- wearing your favorite clothes more than once a week is normal

I've had one since launch and it's the number one played system in the house by my wife and kids. It really is an optimized kinnect in the best way
