Today is the 5th anniversary of arriving in France to obtain residency under the Withdrawal Agreement, thus securing rights that were extended to my husband 15 months later under family reunification rules
I therefore now have permanent residency

It is different for everyone. So many symptoms that could present. Voice/speech defo an issue here 😥.

Don’t know if you do Facebook but there’s a good (v private) group on there for Partners of PD people.

R has no (or hardly any) tremor. Plenty of other symptoms though.

Have fun! I completely messed up half term this year. Missing being with our small people.

I didn’t know your husband had Parkinson’s. So does mine. It would appear that symptoms begin (so quietly …) many years before they become more apparent and lead to diagnosis. My husband was diagnosed just over two years ago but looking back we can see it began five to ten years before.

Personally I wouldn’t hesitate with all the information emerging about COVID’s long term damage to the vascular system. Best to avoid it or at worst minimise it.
