Yeah, I've been dealing with it a lot lately. I had to clean out a Wii Fit board, two Wiimotes, and a Walkman with battery corrosion in the last few months. Luckily they all still worked without any extra care after cleaning, but it is annoying.
My thrift find yesterday! Target exclusive iDog from 2005. Thankfully the batteries from 2008 in him weren't corroded, and he works perfectly!
