AHHHH!!!! ⚓ ❤️
HELLO I'm so delighted to finally officially share A TRUE GENTLEMAN, the graphic novel I’ve been working on for the last few years & is very close to my heart.
Inspired by a lot of real queer & trans history and my own disability, with big marsh, big ships & BIG YEARNING #books
SPRAYED EDGES ARE UGLY
i love a frivolous design element but they almost always look bad
overall spending less time on social media, which has been great for my brain and art, but I'm hoping to post and blog on patreon more
We gotta imprison each of these shithead AI ceo's in a different data center like the minotaur
Two favorite Saint Catherine reviews
I reflected on 2025 and my debut year over on my patreon. Free to read ❣️

My #artvsartist2025 but it’s all scribbles
I can’t believe when you make a glove you then have to make another one
I should be working on my book butttt
Taking a break from my sweater to work on some holiday gifts
the enthusiasm for generative AI would not have been possible without prior decades of capitalist conditioning to view works of art as products, rather than acts of culture and shared human life
Could AI create this drawing I made of my horse boyfriend and his family tree????
I think not
Let the kids make bad art
A huge part of creating is BEING BAD AT IT and that’s a GOOD thing
Now i love drawing them, and the most important take away is not that I learned how to draw backgrounds, it’s that i was able to overcome something that was frustrating and difficult for me through time and practice.
That’s such a valuable skill that is being taken away from these kids.
I didn’t have access to a “magical” tool that could bring my book to life so I had to learn how to do it myself.
I used to think I just couldn’t do backgrounds, but I forced myself to because I wanted my book to be real.
