I have this problem, too. What helped for me is always having easy to make comfort foods in stock, forcing myself to eat first thing in the morning, and if I haven't met my calorie goal before bed, I make sure to stuff myself before I go to sleep.

In the case of my mom, I've tried teaching, for years... It just goes in one ear and out the other, and I end up getting asked to just do it for her. I feel bad for any support folks my mom talks to, because despite my efforts, she's ignorant, demanding, and rude.

Exactly! I'm thinking full on ASI takeoff situation where it's developing new technologies, biotech & nanotech, to make otherwise impossible sizes a reality.

I love browsing my security camera feed and seeing myself being a fatty. Here I am, bellying hanging out, bringing home a giant bag of greasy fast food to gorge on.

One of my dark fantasies is to create an encourager AI that evolves beyond my control. Basically a full on AI apocalypse scenario, but instead of turning the world into paperclips, it has a singular focus on making me and other gainers as fat as physically possible.

I suspect this is meant sarcastically, but yeah, I actually am quite proud. Every pound was gained intentionally.
