I have a friend whose wife works in a city planning department and games like Sim City drive her nuts because “Do you know how much you have to do to widen or even repave a single city block and this just lets you plow peoples houses down?!” Apparently many ppl think Sim City is how cities work? 😂

This is one of the funniest articles I have ever read.

The best part to me is that playing Sim City involves neither politics or actually being a mayor. You just do whatever you want, you don’t have to concern yourself with persuading people to let you build something or have a vote to set tax rates. You only lose if you go bankrupt since no elections.
