USDA freezes farmer funding for some programs, conservation contracts The U.S. Department of Agriculture has frozen some funding for farmers as it goes through a sweeping review, despite assurances from the Trump administration that programs helping farmers would not be affected in the government overhaul.

The Trump Administration is hurting American farmers.

By freezing USDA conservation grants for farms and ending USAID, which buys 10-20% of the whole export market, Trump is taking direct aim at our farms.

You may wonder why altCDC is so political. Public health is as much about the disease as it is about the society in which that disease occurs. We are battling an admin that wants to dismantle US public health, sow misinformation, devalue science, and cripple our ability to respond to health threats.
