حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ تعالی عنہ روایت کرتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ والہ وسلم نے فرمایا: جب انسان مر جاتا ہے تو اس کے اعمال اس سے منقطع ہو جاتے ہیں سوائے تین چیزوں کے- صدقہ جاریہ کے یا علم کے جس سے فائدہ اٹھایا جا رہا ہے یا نیک اولاد کے جو اس کے لیے دعا کرے(مسلم حدیث رقم:۴٢٢٣
