Much as I enjoyed the novel, Rendezvous with Rama has more than one paragraph that fits that description exactly and registered high on the cringe scale when I reread it last year.

We are sad to report that longtime Blue Peter Editor Biddy Baxter has died at the age of 92. We salute a true pioneer, who navigated changing times in the television industry with instinct, tenacity and style.

Not exactly, but the exhibition starts in late October, so I'm guessing about six weeks before that: end of August to early September, I'd think.

I was pretty irked at having to go and buy another DVD so I could watch the set I'd just bought 😕

Holy shit, I've been cloned

Same here. I bought the dvd set after hearing positive things about it and was baffled until I realised "Episode one" was three hours into the series!

Terrible comms - for one thing, what does '....stop at nothing....' actually mean? Reform voters won't believe it, it will be ignored by Tories and formerly tribal Labour types like me will find it repugnant.

I'm here having a look at these before they disappear to a retrospective in Paris beginning in late October, which I hope to get to. I've just been completely taken aback by a comment from a passing child, who seemed to grasp more about one of these pictures than anyone else in here.

Taking some time with Richter's Cage paintings at Tate Modern before they disappear to Paris until next year. Only three people have come in the room so far and said "I could do that", or similar. Guess what: you couldn't.

There are (Strange) days where I prefer that to the debut album.
