A couple days ago was when I decided to. Waited for the archive of my account. I had held on because I didn't want anyone to get my redball handle. But at this point I don't think I'd ever go back, and I don't want my content being used to train their AI.
To be clear, I hadn't posted on the site since the sale finalized. I didn't want someone to appropriate my handle, but the antics the last few days were enough for me to just give up on that. I'm hoping they can't use my deleted account to train their crappy AI.
I almost cancelled Netflix too, after 22 years of membership. Ended up reducing the membership to the ad-supported one. Kind of crazy how good the internet tools during the 2000's were.
