I bought this on the back of a ‘best albums of the year’ review and I was not disappointed. Superb album, and I have been a fan ever since.

I remember the first time I saw Debbie Harry was for the video of Denis. My eyesight has not been the same since.

COYS. PSG were outplayed for most of the game.

Spurs were dismantled by Bayern Munich. PSG are Champions League winners. Their only loss recently was against Chelsea, which they probably lost so that they wouldn’t have to meet Trump. Another dismantling coming this week 😞

I started listening to Bulgarian music in the early 80s, after hearing something on the Andy Kershaw show. When the female choir is in full voice, it's incredible. Check out the opening scene in Banshees of Inishearin, glorious.

The same for players and coaches attending the FIFA World Cup in 2026, part of which is played in the US.

Up there with the best series of all time.

This afternoon is a Cocteau Twins afternoon.

My mistake, it’s Ideal For Living. It’s currently bid at £2400 because it has Rob Gretton’s handwritten note to John.

I was looking through the list last week, and I was tempted by a couple of things. Nirvana (UK) disc sent to John Peel, and Joy Division 12” single Design For Living. I use to see this disc down Portobello Road market for sale in the early 80s.

And it’s always five to three o’clock.

I have this and the rest of the dynamite series. Time to play them again.
