Collaborative study with Michigan DNR to support agriculture and conservation | KBS LTER Investigators at the KBS LTER are working with Michigan DNR staff to study replacing under-yielding areas of croplands with native perennial plants.

Last week was a big one for our #prairiestrip collaboration w/ Michigan DNR! This experiment will test fundamental ecological questions and questions important to farmers adopting the conversation practice of adding prairie to their operations.
