Planting Cormus domestica (Sorbus domestica) Service Tree to replace a large chestnut that had to be removed last November.

Also bringing all the plants out of safe storage whilst work was happening.

Lots of planting, staking, etc but happy with progress.

Probably after the last frosts, but don't go too heavy with the pruning just some gentle shaping if needed.

Salvia rosmarina (Rosemary) has really beautiful flowers, this unknown prostrate variety also has very glaucus foliage when compared to many that I've seen.

Olives. Night. Kitchen Window.

I really enjoy this view from my clients kitchen window, there is an olive each side of the window and the lights really show their beauty by night.

Clients finding it hard to visualise how big the dining space will be, a pergola is being installed and still plenty of space for a table.

When we pot up the herb plugs they start to root and grow on in the polytunnels. These little Italian Parsley plants were sown, germinated and potted up this year 🌱🇬🇧 #herbs #peatfree #flowers

It’s a day of stillness and soft sunshine here, what a blessing. 🙂
Happy Tuesday everyone, hope you have fine weather too.
Just a little rearrangement of spring treasures. 🌱

Bare, pendulous branches making a filigree pattern against blue sky.

Isn’t this tree beautiful? It is in Wisley’s Arboretum and is a Betula pendula Youngii. I really like the patterns of the bare branches.
Yesterday’s sunshine was definitely mood enhancing.

So Greens/Reform are v close at the top and its a v close three way split for Lab/Con/LD

Seems all parties are in with a chance, good in my opinion as regardless of your personal politics, your vote isn't wasted (in theory under our first past the post system).

I'm greedy, both.....

If the weather is good I can say spring is here post 1st March, if the weather is bad I can kid myself it's still winter until the equinox 😂

A heron on the left of the image standing on a riverbank looking over a river with reeds in it. Four deer, two sitting and two standing, within Bushy Park. Trees can be seen in the background as the sun sets. A dragonfly on a leave with water behind. A swan and and six cygnets in water.

We have an amazing array of wildlife which make the Royal Parks their home 🦢 🐛 🦌 🦔

On World Wildlife Day why not share some of your favourite wildlife photos from the parks 🔽
