I didn't say anything about Semenya. Some people are born with something other than XX or XY chromosomes. Some people who are assigned, or observed, as female at birth have chromosomes other than XX. The biology we are taught at school is necessarily simplified so as to be teachable w/o confusion
So what about women and men who have different chromosomes to the ones traditionally used to identify men and women? Sex is only observed by external observation, and that doesn't always match chromosomes. It is, like most things, more complicated than that
