The project aims to create a short biography (about 500 words) on every player from 1875-1900 and others involved with the club in that era. Sorry to hear of the recent death of Roy Erskine, Scottish footballer of the 1950s, and more recently a famous grandfather to Andy Murray. He was profiled in the Hibs handbook in 1953, and I have put together a detailed summary of his playing career.

The earliest I know of was Bohemians in December 1975.
