My daughter worked the nursery last night. She still had 2/3 of her vat of coffee left when she drove home this morning, and she didn’t eat all night. I couldn’t do her job.

I LIVE sausage gravy, but I am the only one in my house who will eat it.

I made a double batch of lasagna this weekend, using my mom’s old recipe. Doubled, it called for 2 cloves of garlic and a whopping 7 tsp of added salt. Instead, I used 5 garlic cloves and 3/4 tsp salt. Still yummy, and better for my hypertension.

I am so jealous! Since my daughter developed an allergy to peaches, I have not brought a peach into the house. I LOVE peaches, but I like not taking her to the ER in anaphylaxis even more.

Good for you! I blew off choir this morning, didn’t get up until 11:30, and just started a double batch of lasagna at 6:00, only to discover that I did NOT have the box of no-boil pasta sheets in the pantry like I thought I did. Whoops.

I’m making lasagna, using the recipe from my childhood. It calls for a clove of garlic. I am doubling the recipe, so somebody please tell me that 5 cloves of garlic will be enough.

I qualify as well. Deep into my EdS program, I was complaining on Twitter about procrastinating about writing yet another paper. Someone suggested I use ChatGPT. It literally would have taken longer to learn the platform than to write the stupid paper. I had already pulled all the journal articles

I gave myself permission to lie down for a nap today. Less than 6 hours of sleep last night, coupled with finding out the my “sore knee” is actually a grade 2 MCL tear coupled with a meniscus tear, and I will give myself some grace to rest.
