As of 12/24/25, USPS changed policy on when they postmark mail. Mail dropped off is no longer guaranteed a same-day postmark. Tax returns & other time-sensitive items are now stamped when they reach a regional processing center, which may be days later. Plan deadlines accordingly to avoid penalties.

Write down what you want to say and just say it. I got one full voicemail box but tried another number and was able to leave a message. Get fucking loud, Christ almighty, what are we waiting for.
It's cruel. It's an incredible escalation of their anti-trans culture war. And there is still a chance to stop the provision in the Senate, so if you have a trans person in your life you care about, I implore you - make your voice heard with your Senators. Both of them. Republican OR Democrat.
As someone who works at a company that has already done this, it's not about effectiveness, it's about power and control.
They will not change until forced to by the workers. Do not waste your time trying to debate them, use your energy to organize with your coworkers in unions instead.
Saddened to hear about the passing of the truly wonderful Butch Guice. I especially loved his work during his short but beautiful run on New Mutants – his work was so fluid and human, especially when he was drawing things that weren't.
So, this is one of my favorite poems (though honestly all of Benet’s Nightmare poems are pretty dope.) Even though it’s 90 years old this year, it’s been on my mind a lot lately for… oh, no reason. For my money, a masterwork in spec, horror, and satirical poetry.
Even accepting the premise that AI produces useful writing (which no one should), using AI in education is like using a forklift at the gym. The weights do not actually need to be moved from place to place. That is not the work. The work is what happens within you.
