I definitely wouldn’t ever want it to be easy, but I could certainly handle it being not as hard. It’s such a good thing we don’t have a high volume intake shelter, cause I’d be in a constant state of crisis 😭 the skin around my eyes would disintegrate!

I agree! I scanned a stray at a friends house for a microchip & then planned to find him a home, only for him to get hit the next day. It crushed me like it was one of my own & I had only met him once 😭

I guess it’s slightly better than a foot huffer like Shinobu is 😂

As a seasoned cat lady, I can confirm it sucks just as much every time it happens 💔 I wish it got easier!

he’s got a big ol dumpy 😂 I’ve started buying diet food hoping to slim him down before the diabeetus gets him 😭

He was very well loved! He was the first friendly one of the bunch, so he got the most love of all of them 🥰

Doofy says “yes, yes go with the flow, now let me eat your hair while it’s flowing!” Cobwebs & my hair are his guilty pleasure snacks 🤢 not that I cut my hair super well, but this little brat has eaten a very uneven set of layers into my head while I sleep 😤

I’m surprised we can’t hear the clock ticking down in the damn background at this point 😭

It’s so hard to watch the same cycle repeat over & over despite all attempts at intervention. It’s like being a time traveler in a cynical movie, except you don’t get a cool machine.

I’m happy I have the opportunity to help so many, it definitely helps offset the losses!
