Meeper is gone. He made his way to the main road & was hit. We were able to recover his body. We opted for burial this time, rather than cremation, so we can put that money towards TNRing his siblings who are still living & deserve a chance at a better life.

I’m trying to get it all out now! I ordered this custom grave marker for him without realizing it’ll take a while to get here & I just know I’m gonna forget it’s on the way & open it up & crash out when I see it 😭

It really is! There are so many cats I wonder about to this day. Things like Mr hungry showing back up like 6 months later looking great, makes it hard not to have that little bit of hope in the back of your mind, so I’m really glad to know for sure.

That’s the WORST! It’s so maddening not knowing what to think & then your imagination just runs wild with the worst possible stuff 😭 so stressful! I’m legit starting to wonder if all the “old cat ladies” weren’t all just like 30 year olds that went prematurely gray & haggard from all this!
