Example of what I mean. I think a lot of SynthV English vocals have this issue too, but SOLARIA's the only one who I've encountered it with multiple times when using her regularly.

-point of adding [tr] and [dr] is to address this particular issue, why aren't [tw] and [dw] also their own phonemes? At the very least, [tw] occurs often enough in English to facilitate it as its own sound ( "twice", "twist", "twilight" ). [dw] is a bit rare, but does still occur.

-plosives of [t w] and [d w] should be released or not. For example, if you have SynthV, try making SOLARIA say "saw twilight". Maybe you'll get a good seed and she'll pronounce it correctly, but, more times than not, she'll say it as "sought-why-light" with "t" as a glottal stop. So like... if the-

-( i.e. "see trite", vs "seat right" ). Which would make sense, since AI synths don't always have enough context to tell them apart.

That all makes sense... until you consider the same thing happens with [t w] and [d w]. Not only that, but AI synths do actually have issues distinguishing when the-

-and the one I suspect is the main reason, which is to distinguish [tr]/[dr] at the beginning of a word, and [t r]/[d r] in word-to-word transitions. Which, on paper, that makes sense; a lot of times when you have the latter case, frequently the plosive is unreleased;

-similar sounds. Which... kinda makes sense, until you consider that an AI synth can automatically change them contextually, and even in concat synths, you can still just pronounce the [t r] and [d r] diphones that way outright, and it'd still usually work.

Which brings me to the second reason,-

Like - okay, there are two reasons I could think of to have them; the first being because, among us native speakers, they can sometimes become [ch r] and [jh r] or-

With oto’s, I can sometimes activate my ‘tism powers and finish an absurd amount a day, which is good for when I need to rush ( or REALLY want to hear a finished voicebank quicker ).

I feel like when I do the same thing with labels, the most I can get done is maybe like… 5-6ish minutes a day?
