Each piece on display is a visual reflection of our young artists’ personal narratives, created through themed workshops exploring identity, imagination, optimism, and more.

🛍️ Art for Sale with 100% of proceeds going directly to the youth artists

🍪 Snacks & Refreshments for all guests

This exciting event marks the grand finale of our fall art workshop series, hosted by the Resilience Resource Center and made possible by the generous support of the Tigris Foundation.

Calling all young creatives! 📣

✏️Cosmic Writers’ annual Monster-Building Contest challenges young writers to create and write stories about original monster characters, competing for a grand prize of a custom plushie based on their monster! 👻🎃

🗓️Entries will be accepted until December 31st!

“Caleb, an eleven year old boy, comes to the Montgomery City Public Library often with his large homeschooling family. They participate in many library programs, but Caleb is often reluctant when it comes to reading and writing."

We had so much fun joining Brittany Lynn on Halloween for her Drag Queen Story Time at the Pop Up Garden in Manayunk! 🎃📖

Participants dressed up in their spookiest costumes, painted pumpkins, and got to listen to some hair-raising tales! 👻

We are so excited to partner with the Eastern PA Trans Equity Project to sponsor our ✨third✨ play date for trans and gender-creative kids under the age of 14! 🏳️‍⚧️

Join for some roller-skating fun on November 8th from 4pm-6pm! 🛼

⭐️Through this creative collaboration, students will explore themes of food, community, and art in a hands-on, iterative design process. 🥬🌽🍅

In collaboration with Power of Paint, 4th grade students from W.C. Bryant Academy will work together to design a mural for the entrance of the attached Community Center of The Community Grocer!🎨🖌️

💥🚀We had a blast joining Power of Paint and the Bryant Academy students at their first mural project meeting for The Community Grocer!🌱The kids practiced different art techniques while learning about the importance of nutrition and healthy food!
