I conducted unannounced oversight of the Northwest Detention Center. What I witnessed was devastating. Trump is detaining our neighbors, coworkers, & loved ones without guaranteed due process & no accountability. That's not American; that's authoritarianism. I will fight back with everything I have.

Possibly because they haven’t actually experienced the loss yet.
