Oh how those able folk are blissfully unaware of the everyday frustrations, stresses and incompetence put on patients by a malfunctioning NHS 😤 Will you (bother to) complain?

I once called the service and got through to someone at home who then had to abruptly end the call. Totally not what I needed at that point - felt abandoned in a fragile moment!

True, horrifying and as bad as guns! In Peckham I saw my neighbour’s teen sons being shown how to load a gun on street. I rang police who asked ME go identify gun and car registration. I told them do YOUR job as risky 4 me. They rang later - was replica. Still a weapon to intimidate I reminded them!

In UK knife crime is the biggest problem among people aged 14-30. So sad and usually drugs related.

Not for you to be sorry but I know who should say that - I will take it up with the NHS consultant who last year did a endoscopy and said “all normal” when that was impossible given the stage I’m at now! Next stage is pre-cancer and takes years to develop. I am still having cheeky coffees too 🤭

Yesterday my 22 yr old did a 3 hour trial shift in a pub and funny how they chose her to come in during the Women’s football final. After 3 hard hours she was told won’t be paid but they invite her return for a paid 8 hr shift and then MAYBE can add her to roster. Total exploitation of young folk!

It was 2 decades ago when we had the first vaccine scare over the MMR but it’s probably the same story for so many parents now. Our daughter was very ill with measles but the anti vaxxers won’t want that known!

Is the answer non vaccinated nurseries and schools? I’m so done with this endless fake news on vaccines. A friend of 40 years has blocked me cos I suggested her bf who has cancer should have covid jab. He’s refusing chemo too cos of what he reads online 🙄

My child was too young to be vaccinated by several months. GP worried vaccine too young could affect her as already a child on lower percentile growth. Measles also affected her growth. LA was at fault to not alert other parents and no doubt nursery didn’t want loose money.

Omg Frances yes! My daughter was aged 10 months and caught measles at nursery (and was already a prem baby) But get this the authorities told the nursery not to tell other parents until affected child’s condition confirmed! So they left it 3 days and my child got infected. She’s so petite now.

I’ve stopped wearing it when meet my most flippant friends/relatives!
