Aaaand my day off tomorrow is no longer a day off because now I'm going to Gothenburg with sis for one of her very far away doctor's appointments 😅

So straight to bed now when I'm home from work and then another long day tomorrow 😮‍💨

First day at new work location today went well as well. I think it'll be a fun place to work at even though it felt like a lot today. But new places are always overwhelming so I'm sure it'll be fine. Next introduction shift is on Tuesday.

Update on this is that the vet visit went as badly as it could have. It's going to be an expensive journey. He's lucky I love him more than life itself lol.

Job interview went well. The job is mine if I want it. But I'm not sure I do. Gonna think it over and then we'll see.

Life is really fucking great right now 😁

Unless the vet appointment tomorrow goes to hell 😅 the risk of it getting expensive as fuck is high 😬😬 but that's tomorrow's problem 😅

And somewhere in this schedule I need to find time to finish my next novella because I'd like to start sending out ARCs in the beginning of October 🙌

At least I think I will then have a full weekend off. But then it's also F1 weekend again so I'm guessing (hoping) it'll mean hanging out with my sister 👀

Wednesday first shift at new workplace
Thursday off 🙌
Friday dog training for a few hours
Saturday competition
Sunday competition

Then Monday off before another busy week starts 😅

This week I've had dog trainings, dogo class, photographed a competition, gotten a haircut, hung out with friends, and visited a new workplace. Normally that would have been enough to have me stuck in bed for the next week or so, but tomorrow another busy one starts and I feel good about it.

Life's been so busy lately and I'm just waiting for a burnout but it doesn't come? I'll never get used to my mental health actually being manageable nowadays lol.

Anyway, I'm grateful for that dude. I always wonder why he cares, because we really only knew each other for a short time while playing the same game for a few months, but it warms something inside me that he does ❤️

And that's fine, but it's also like... I'm never going to ask you to support me, that's entirely up to you, but it would be nice if you cared just a little bit.

Then we have some of my oldest friends (and family) who haven't even bothered to try to read anything. Years of friendship and haven't checked out a single book. Those who say they've read it but can't take two minutes to review.

We haven't spoken more than a few DMs here and there in over a year. And still he's there, quietly supporting me. And I'm so fucking thankful for him.

Low-key funny how a dude I gamed with for like two months almost three years ago show my books more support than some people I've known for like ten years.

Like no he's not interested in reading them, but he likes my posts, shares my promotions in his IG story, sends the links to his gay friends.

They branded him a hero. Then left him to die.

she got to come home yesterday. Gastric ulcer, so now she's gotten some meds that will help that heal and some stuff against nausea while she gets better

They can't figure out what's wrong with her. Each time she tries to eat without the meds that reduces nausea, she starts throwing up and her stomach cramping in a please-just-let-me-die horror.

Sis is at the hospital, so far no one can tell what's wrong with her. So you know, send healing thoughts and all that

I have Tuesday off, then I work Wednesday and Thursday, then I have four days off 😍 so the long shifts are way worth it because it means more days off in a row 😊 but it's a bit dreading going there at 10am knowing you'll be there until 10 the next day 😂

We just gotta pray we actually get to sleep during our on call hours or those shifts suddenly get very long 😂 my last 24h one I got a total of 2h sleep because we had incidents through the night. So that was fun 🙃

Since I'm covering for staff that's on vacation, I haven't been asked about the hours, but I have agreed to cover whoever I got assigned to. So normally no, not legal. But since we work within healthcare the laws are a bit different and can be "discussed" into extended shifts.
