Hello everyone. I come to you this morning asking you to call your senators and representatives and tell them they must OPPOSE THE SAVE AMERICA ACT. They are trying to take your vote away. Literally.

I have never not voted via mail. I live in Oregon, was the first state to implement an all mail-in voting system in the country. I have to tell you, mail-in voting is NICE. It is so easy. I’m baffled why more people don’t insist on it for their own states.
This is all an attempt to suppress the vote. Every bit of it.
They are trying to take away your voice and this must not pass.
It must not.
If we lose the ability to vote, we may never get it back.
Driver’s licenses, RealIDs and state IDs don’t count. If you are in a state that only does mail-in voting, guess what, we would have to go to polls in order to vote. No you don’t get the day off work to do so.
Did you get married and change your name? Guess what, the only valid form of ID that proves citizenship is a passport. Don’t have a passport? Good luck getting an appointment to apply for one and receiving it before November…
This piece of legistlation is meant to strip away the ability for millions of Americans to vote by requiring millions of people to get documents that cost money to acquire, months to receive and are a headache for anyone who has to deal with these requirements before voting this fall.
