The client was transferred out of state to Berlin and it took more than a week for the attorney and the client’s wife to reach him. “I wasn’t given any notice they were moving him out of the jurisdiction. The government is doing everything they can to prevent access.”

In these Bureau of Prisons facilities “access to counsel is almost impossible”. One attorney said, "They told me he’s not being moved,” said Roth. “They lied to my face.”

Across Massachusetts, federal immigration agents conducted an intense six-day sweep, arresting 370 people. This marks a shift toward broader, more cruel operations.

We must stand together against the deportation machine. Our communities will not allow the Trump administration to abduct our friends and neighbors or erode our constitutional rights to resist.
