As someone who got out from Russia right before Putin consolidated power, seeing what is isn't the same as being a doomer. Reality is depressing sometimes.

That movie gave me nightmares too, on the other side of the pond, in former USSR. Between this one and Sara Connor's dream from Terminator II, I had nightmares for months.

I never found the Exorcist to be scary, then or now, but I wasn't raised religious. I also don't find most of the supernatural/ghost movies to be scary (e.g., Conjuring series).

Translated to plain English: Do not, for a second, believe that I won't vote yes or will actually do anything about said concerns.

What to plant in shade -- most of advertised natives in my area are sun or partial sun, and my entire front lawn is under trees. The second concern is upkeep--how much weeding, thinning, etc.will be required before the plants are established.

Got the same advice as an undergrad 30 years ago. So good to know we are making progress toward equality.

I just want someone to explain to me why some parents can refuse blood transfusion or vaccines for their children against medical advice, but parents of trans children cannot use medically recommended treatment for their kids. Make it make sense.

I appreciate the response. I have the privilege of living in a red state though, and I am yet to find a common ground on any issue with those who still support current government.

So tired of this argument. Pray tell, what's a common ground between trans people deserve the same rights as everyone and trans people should not exist? Trans people get 3/5s of rights? I feel like we've tried this before.
