My post wasn't about hope (keep it!), and I too am in an NDP riding but that doesn't change the fact that even the NDP has shifted towards liberalism and away from socialism.

And it doesn't change that Canada as a whole has attempted to emulate the US over Europe, which was my point.

Even if we were to pretend that these Premiers weren't voted in by the people, Canada has long been interested in (and voted for) a more Conservative shift rather than a more socialist shift.... (among other more American shifts)

And Canada is intently focused on moving closer to American models rather than European ones.... #cdnpoli
