Australia’s AUKUS subs deal could get pricier. But will it even survive the Trump era? The US is currently reviewing the AUKUS deal — under which Australia will acquire nuclear-powered submarines — to scrutinise its cost-effectiveness.

I was quoted in today’s SBS News on Australia’s AUKUS submarine deal during the Trump era. I should say, these ideas aren’t entirely mine. They largely come from the reading list of the Australian Foreign Policy course I teach at UQ :)
