I use the iOS simulator a lot, but always test on a real iPhone before merging or uploading. As one of my professors used to say: “It doesn’t mean s*** if it only works in the simulator.”

On a serious note: in a team with code reviews, you (hopefully) get feedback on naming. But as a solo dev (or even in a team), tools like ChatGPT or Claude can help. Even if the suggestions aren’t perfect, just writing a prompt to explain the variable’s purpose often leads you to a better name.

The hardest part of app dev isn’t Swift or SwiftUI… it’s naming variables you won’t hate in 6 months. 😅 #appdev
