We took a mini day trip into Seattle to sit test the sofa we’re going to buy AND had some really tasty ramen ✨ our dahlias are blooming like crazy, and my Scotch Heather is flowering for I think the first time ever since I bought it?? Life is magical, yall.

We finally finished processing plums last night. I didn’t do a final count, but the 7cu.ft. chest freezer is totally full, as predicted. Plus some of our regular inside freezer.

Shoutout to Facebook Marketplace because we were able to get a sweet deal on a chest freezer that we will absolutely be filling up by the time this weekend is over.

Heather’s boyfriend Mike throwing his hands up while making a goofy face, mind utterly blown by the sheer amount of plums in the kitchen around him. The kitchen island has four large mixing bowls and two big stock pots overflowing with plums, and there are six ziplock bags filled with sliced plums on the stove in the back.

It’s a plum harvesting weekend. There are already six full ziplock bags in the freezer. The tree is still so full.
