After a weekend of playing with black clay, the first mug is about 90% done! Just need to add underglaze to the plaque section and bisque fire it!

It really does! It was tougher to work with than white clay but like you said, it has a different character!

After taking a small break from pottery, I am back and now trying out black clay which I’ve wanted to try for ages and I love it! Everything looks so nice!

This mug took so long to make and used to many different decoration styles. Sprig mould for the bee, stamps for the honeycomb design, and slip for the honey effect.
