He's never pretending to be nice (he is a sweetheart) but he's got serious resting bitch face.
It just didn't get repped in my art until recently because I forgot I loved that about him.

Herman (a tall redhead) looking bitchy while talking to Jacky, a short redhead. The caption next to him says "Bitching about something that has nothing to do with her." He suddenly lifts his arm with a yarn tether wrapped around it. Jacky leans back like the movement startled her (Herman is 6'3''ish). He stops talking and looks at her. The yarn has retreated back to his arm. He looks grumpy, but he's figuring out if she's actually upset. In the last panel he flicks the yarn tether at her nose and looks away, having decided that no, she's not. "Yeah, I'd duck if I didn't know me too." He probably returns to bitching.

Herman being unapologetic about dropping his personality glamour. (Panel three is him deciding how startled she actually is, and then right back to bitching.)

Originally his word bubble was empty because this was supposed to be doodles of him looking grumpy (his natural default).

I like drawing Jacky being spunky and A Problem but she's tiny and sometimes she needs a shield, because I need that kind of dynamic and I need it in bulk

Herman leans down (just his muzzle) and sticks her whole head in his mouth. Jacky looks annoyed, like she knows what comes next. "I said kiss." Herman, deliberately shoving more of her into his mouth. "Yeah yeah. Thith ith kith." Jacky is being lifted out of panel by Herman, all we can see is her legs sticking out of his mouth. "HERMAN!"

A banner of a landmass with snowy and hot regions, and ocean shores. Jacky's story starts on the left and progresses to the center of the map, with bullet points of other OCs she met so far and some story notes. Mostly- she started on the shore, went inland to an abandoned tavern she lived at for a little while, and will bounce around the map a bit after she drops a giant coin on Tam. (Haven't made it to that part yet officially).
