This was my favorite episode of the season, despite being the most difficult to subtitle. It made me feel things.

Between Wonderman & A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms & this season of Bridgerton, we have entered a TV era of shows about rooting for delightful underdogs, & I am here for it. We need it.

And it feels really natural. They also did a great job of explaining the importance of tires through the action. The scene WAS the exposition. So many people don't appreciate the nuts and bolts stuff.

What they did was very, very difficult

F1 deserved a best screenplay nom. Not so much because of the story - although the story is great - but because at one point I yelled "Oh no, he doesn't have the tires!" I only knew that because this script did a phenomenal job of explaining racing without killing the narrative. Worth studying.

Ice killed more people than just the two white folks. If you have the means, please give to the families that didn't get the same level of coverage.
