Vale sits on the edge of the left booth seat, one leg stretched out toward the viewer, his sword rests on its point, has right hand holding it up, it's taller than he is, sitting. He has light skin, purple eyes that look away toward the left and the floor, long blue hair pulled back in a half ponytail and a close cut beard. He has a long blue coat, over a blue vest and white shirt with a collar, a strap is around his left upper thigh and knee high boots. Tassera sits on the table to our right, turned toward the right slightly, legs crossed, she holds a dagger in her left hand, cradling the point in her right. She has medium skin, green eyes and wavy purple hair with a slight smirk on her face. She wears a bodice style top in dark purples with straps and thigh high boots. They are both back lit in yellow light from the windows. There's a collection of comments quoted toward the bottom of the image. "ladies, let that man look hot in peace." "respectful gazing upon Vale's cleavage." "Just kiss already." "Magic making the cop's job harder. I am here for it." "Oh no, not the influencers." "Why is everyone ins this so good looking?" "Vale's sassy eye rolls give me life."

She thrust the file folder back into Vale's hands hitting him in the chest with it, continuing to talk, "I cannot stand that woman. I'd like to punch that smirk right off her smug face. Let someone else deal with Eris and her thugs." Allins folds her arms, "Then they can be a blight on someone else's record." Vale wave's the file folder with a good natured eye-roll, "I don't think that's how it works." Vale gestures behind him with a thumb, "What was up with the morning patrol?"

A tavern main room is occupied by five people. A tan skin man on the left dressed in shades of red with short dark hair, sags a little, looking winded. A man with dark skin, chin length curly hair, cat ears and tail, dressed in a light green wrap around shirt swings a staff at a woman named Tass who has tan skin and long wavy purple hair dressed in a long dark coat and holding a dagger in either hand. Tass dodged backward away from the staff swinging at her. A woman with light skin and chin length brown hair holds an axe and kicks a knocked over chair out of her way, trying to join the fray. A pale woman with a bruise on her chin and a side shave, dressed in shades of green conjures a fireball. A new woman, Merilly, in a white dress and a tan bodice, short, curly blond hair and rabbit ears quickly pulls a door open, trying to escape the fight. The man in red point a sickle shouting "Burand! Follow her, we can't have he running to the guard." Burand, a dward with pale skin, dressed in shades of purple vaults the bar, chasing after Merilly. Tass retaliates against the man with the staff, swinging a dagger that slices across his cheek.

Don't fall asleep. enver's outside alone, smoking. dialogue is overlayed: patient, blearily: Are you a doctor? enver: Well, you can talk fine enough. over a panel of the patient reaching for their belongings, enver says: I'm in training as a medic. next, a panel of Enver hanging up his hunting rifle. then a panel of the mountains at night under a full moon as clouds pass over. then a series of 8 blank black panels, indicating the passing of time. the final panel is one during the day, of a field of grasses and flowers and sparse trees, blowing in the wind.

our protagonist, butch trans boy Jack, almost fully silhouetted against the towering clouds and the brilliant sunrise peeking over and through stones topping the rocky foothills. the words BIRTH OF THE SUN are handwritten below him, and a traditional tiled motif from the Caucasus borders the image.

BIRTH OF THE SUN is a queer sci-fi comic about life shaped by power, transness, blood, and choice. jack's search for his missing father drags him into the fallout of a mysterious accident from the past.

🗣️IT'S #WebcomicDay !!! yes i know TUOTEON is still on hiatus BUT my workload/work-life balance has changed quite a bit recently so i do hope to sit down and plan the next pages soon 🥺💖

Panel 1: High Angle look towards the outside of a home. The sun seems to be slowly rising. Panel 2: The room through the window with a lot of books. A cat is looking out of the window, standing on a couch next to the window. A girl is sitting on the couch, back to the viewer, as a long-haired man with blue skin and horns passes by. The text reads "Cort is obviously in trouble, I have to find him!" "But, Leo-" "No buts!". Panel 3: The girl yawns. Panel 4: She looks in the mans direction. Text reads: "Oh hello there! What's going on? Oh wow! You're blue!" Panel 5: The man looks startled and yanks his head into her direction.

Panel 1: The man looks at the girl with an angry expression. He shifts his skin from blue to a more natural skincolor. The SFX reads: "Glamor on!!" Panel 2: The angrily points at her. Text reads "Hey! Don't just talk to me." Panel 3: High angle shot of the room, he steps towards the girl. His text "Go back to bad. Shoo!" Her text "Are you Leonard?" Panel 1: A doll with a mask flies down towards a man, seemingly naked and wrapped up in the same cloth, that she is wearing. She holds his head and covers his eyes. Text reads: "Now that she's gone, why don't we continue? As I've said, you've got no choice but help me. For now bw still, my dear. I'm sure you understand." Panel 2: Treetops, the sun is rising. Text says "I'll go."

Two panels. Panel 1: A man is standing, his back halfway turned to the viewer. He seems sad and lonely. Behind him is a girl floating. Text reads: "How did this happen to us, Moriko? When did we stop trusting each other?" Panel 2: Close-up on the girl's face. Her expression is hard to read, it seems to be part resignation, part melancholy. There might be a hint of disdain mixed into it.

Top Panel: Shinshu hands the bottle of Mirin to the worker as her father hands a small sipping bowl to Filovanya, dipped from an open sake barrel. Filovanya: "Excellent, now, I must do my inspection. I know we will want all of zis, of course." Middle left panel: Filovanya swirls the sake in the small bowl. Filovanya: "Kuramoto never disappoints." Middle right panel: Filovanya takes a deep sip, looking to the side at Shinshu. Filovanya: "You say you like to cook, yes?" Bottom panel, top inset: Shinshu presses her fists together in hyper excitement, beaming. Shinshu: "Yes Ma'am! I cook for the Family and the workers at the Brewery at home!" Bottom panel, full: The workers shout, while loitering around an empty cart. Workers: "Shin is our Angel of the Afternoon Lunch! Dame of Delicious Dinners and Desserts! Our benevolent Breakfast Benefactor!" Shinshu, shouting: "Guys! Stop it!" Bottom inset panel: Shinshu covers her face, deeply embarassed.
